Organizations have been applying for the Senate Productivity and Quality Award since 1983.
Recognition and feedback are given to all applicants. Recipients of the Medallion Award — our top award — are those exceptional organizations that have demonstrated best practices and superior achievement of results across all categories of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Framework. A few organizations have maintained that same high level of performance and have earned this designation twice. Medallion Award winners may apply for the award again after a five-year period. Organizations that succeed in earning the Medallion Award a second time are awarded the Award for Continuing Excellence (ACE).
