Henrisa (“Henri”) Tosoc-Haskell. As a Senior Leader at the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), “Henri” is responsible for the internal quality efforts for the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) and the external quality efforts nationally for the Organ Procurement Transplant Network known as the OPTN. As the organizational leader for quality, she provides the oversight for monitoring performance of member institutions (transplant hospitals, organ procurement organizations and histocompatibility laboratories) and their compliance with OPTN policy and bylaws and the OPTN Final Rule. Her specific responsibilities include the advancement of assessment and improvement strategies to improve member program performance, facilitating the effective management of the OPTN/UNOS membership and professional standards committee, and processing potential patient safety incidents to support the efforts of harm reduction. As part of her corporate quality oversight, she is leading the efforts for high performance using the Baldrige Criteria and submitting a full application for 2019 to the Virginia State Baldrige Affiliate program (VA SPQA).
Prior to joining UNOS, she was the Corporate Quality Director for a multi-hospital Health Care System in Virginia where she provided the oversight for Quality Improvement efforts across the continuum of care, including Acute and Primary Care Services, Home Health and Skilled Nursing Care Services and efforts with the Accountable Care Organization.
Henri has served as a Senior Examiner on the Board of Examiners for the National Malcolm Baldrige Quality Recognition Program for the past 5 years and remains active as an Examiner at the VA State program as well.
