Award Recipients
Organizations in Virginia and the District of Columbia that receive the United States Senate Productivity and Quality Award Medallion are believed to be the best in their class when compared with the nation’s standard for excellence – the Baldrige Excellence Framework and its Criteria for Performance Excellence. The Medallion for Performance Excellence is the highest level of recognition. The successive awards that approach the Medallion include Achievement in Performance Excellence, Progress in Performance Excellence and Commitment to Performance Excellence.
