Wen Cao, Ph.D, MS, LSSBB, FACHE, is the Associate Vice President of Performance Improvement and Enterprise Transformation at TidalHealth. He leads system-level initiatives focused on process optimization, operational efficiency and quality improvement. Dr. Cao holds a Ph.D. and a master’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Binghamton University. He earned his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification in 2014 and became a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2024. He has been serving as a U. S. Senate Productivity and Quality Award examiner since January 2025.
Alongside his professional work, he is pursuing an MBA at Boston University and serves as adjunct faculty at Binghamton University, teaching Healthcare Financial Engineering and Quality Assurance for Engineers.
