Jim Scheurer grew up in Philadelphia where he studied at Drexel University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a dual major in Management Information Systems and Operations Management. Jim went on to work for AT&T, SAIC, the United States Post Office (earned a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt), and Northrop Grumman performing the roles of a Business Analyst and Project/Program Manager. Jim then earned a Master’s degree in Technology Management in a cohort of 50 people at George Mason University. Jim was introduced to the Baldrige Excellence Framework while working as a Business Management Analyst at the Pentagon. Jim attended every class he could offered by SPQA including becoming an Examiner.
Jim also teaches Introduction to Business at Christopher Newport University and Co-teaches Job Search Accountability Networking classes for Career Network Ministry. Jim enjoys hiking, biking, swimming and nature in his current hometown of Carrollton, Virginia.
