Publications

Organizations and individuals start with the Criteria for Performance Excellence.  Maintained and published by the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, a part of the United States Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the Criteria is available in three versions: 

1.   Education,
2.   Health Care,
3.   Business, Non-Profits, and Government,

NIST revises the Criteria every two years. During the transition year, Virginia SPQA uses the previous edition. The applicable versions of the Criteria for Virginia SPQA Programs are available for download on the right.

Virginia SPQA publications of interest also include its Program Guides. Each is updated annually and can be downloaded on the right. 

Virginia Forum for Excellence Presentations

The Virginia Forum for Excellence is held each year to promote organizational performance excellence and recognize Virginia SPQA participant organizations and individuals.  Attendance is made up of Individuals interested in organizational performance excellence from all sectors and disciplines.  The event features speakers and workshops covering a broad set of topics.  Visit Virginia SPQA on Facebook for photos and more.  Selected presentations from past workshops are available below.
